Frontline Equipment Maintenance Pty Ltd is based in Mackay, Queensland and owned/operated by Craig Garth and Tim Granter. Between them, Craig and Tim have more than 60 years of experience within the industry, and a wealth of knowledge across all aspects of industrial repair and maintenance.

Tim and Craig are qualified Diesel Fitters with OEM backgrounds, meaning they know mining and both have the understanding and experience of what is required to maintain specialist mining equipment.

Our Team

Frontline’s qualified, highly skilled and experienced tradespeople have extensive knowledge in all fields, giving our team the ability to work on a wide range of light to heavy vehicles. This includes family cars, commercial vehicles, 4WDs, trucks, trailers and civil machinery.


Michael Ebner
OPERATIONS MANAGER

Mick is a trade-qualified Diesel Fitter with over 28 years of industry experience. He began his career with Hastings Deering, building a strong mechanical trade foundation before advancing into leadership roles, including Senior Supervisor on multiple Thiess sites. Since 2004, Mick has developed in-depth knowledge of on-site operations and team management, bringing a wealth of expertise to every project in supervisory positions.

Now stepping into the role of Frontline Operations Manager, Mick is leveraging his hands-on trade experience and proven leadership skills to oversee daily business operations. As the primary contact for all business-related matters, he is committed to ensuring seamless coordination and maintaining the highest standards across the company.


Liam Butler
FIELD SERVICE & LABOUR CO-ORDINATOR

Liam is a trade qualified Diesel Fitter, starting his career as an apprentice in 2008. His trade has seen him venture into multiple heavy machinery industries across multiple states at highly creditable companies.

Liam started at Frontline as the Field Service Coordinator from 2013 to 2015, then ventured back into the Field Service Diesel Fitting world before returning to his previous role in 2019 as Frontline’s Field Service Coordinator. Liam is the primary contact for any labour and leave requirements for all rostered and ad-hoc positions and is highly respected and knowledgeable across all facets of Frontline’s labour resources and vehicle management.

His strong understanding of both operational, site and workshop environments allows him to coordinate resources efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members.


Brad Eveleigh
BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT & SAFETY MANAGER

Brad commenced his career in the mining industry in 1998, gaining experience across coal-fired power stations, open cut coal mining production, and mine safety. Brad left the mining industry in 2011 to work abroad in media, marketing, finance and public relations. Returning to Australia and to mining in 2014, he broadened his expertise becoming a Mining Production Statistics Officer and obtained qualifications as a Mining Supervisor and in Mines Rescue, as well as serving as a Site Safety and Health Representative.

Brad commenced with Frontline in 2017 focusing on safety and training, progressing to his current role as Business Improvement and Safety Manager. In this capacity, he holds additional qualifications in mental health assistance and plays a key role in IT, human resources, quality assurance, business advisor/improvement/relations, marketing, and advertising. His diverse skill set, and industry background enable him to drive operational improvements while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.


Alyssa Granter
INDUCTION, HUMAN RESOURCE & TRAINING COORDINATOR

Since joining Frontline in 2017, Alyssa has been operating as our Inductions, Human Resources, and Training Coordinator. She completed a business degree specialising in Human Resources in 2020, complementing her studies with practical, hands-on experience in induction coordination. In 2022, her expertise led to her transition into a Human Resourcing role. With over 7 years of experience in the mining industry, Alyssa serves as the primary contact for compliance, onboarding, induction, and training enquiries, facilitating the successful integration of employees and contractors onto our sites. Additionally, she holds qualifications to provide mental health assistance.
